Hello! Thank you for checking out my page :) My name is Mike and I am a young, animal-loving, professional that works from home. I am available most days/times and am happy to accommodate whenever possible! Understanding that most folks aren't able to lounge around with their furry friend all day and night tending to their every whim, I am excited to get your pet (and myself!) some much needed exercise and enrichment. Between owning dogs and cats, pet sitting, and bonding with animals of all shapes and sizes every chance I get, I have no doubt that I will be your pet's new best friend. Also worth noting, I have a bachelor's degree in biology, which lends to a deep, empathetic understanding of animals along with their needs, moods, diets, and health. Michael is amazing! Cocoa loved his company and truly would recommend him for whatever your pet service needs are. It’s my first time using Rover and I was so grateful to have a meet and greet with him! Nicest most trustworthy person to have to take care of your pet! I highly recommend!
Mike is our go-to for dog sitting/walking, and without exaggeration, he is my dog’s favorite person in the world. She’s a high energy rescue and Mike matches her energy perfectly, tiring her out on long walks/runs/hikes. Mike has also taken care of our dog while she’s been sick and injured and is more attentive than we could ever hope for. Let him help you take care of your furry bestie, I promise you and your dog will both love him.

Your pet is a member of your family, and I will do everything in my power to ensure that they are watched, transported, fed, and crated (if needed) safely. If your pet has any unique requirements, please let me know and we can create a safety plan.

Let me know if your pet has any strong likes/dislikes, if they have any dietary restrictions (I will never, ever feed or give your pet anything not approved by YOU!), if there are specific situations that lead to a higher degree of risk for your pet or myself as safety is my number one priority. I rely on clear, thorough, and effective communication with you the owner to ensure that I know everything necessary to properly care for your pet.
A typical day
Day-to-day activities will vary based on your pet. We will communicate and determine what your pet needs based on it's breed, age, and overall health goals. Some activities I enjoy when applicable: Fast walks with energetic dogs, slow/patient walks with senior dogs or big time sniffers, trail walking/hiking with athletic dogs, training reinforcement with dogs of all ages especially puppies, providing a calm and gentle environment for shy or nervous pets, active play with energetic dogs to manage their stress and energy levels. If there is a particular activity your pet loves, please let me know as I am always looking to incorporate new ways to engage and enrich your pet's experience with me!

Availability
I am available most days/times with reasonable notice. Working from home, I can schedule my day to fit you and your pet's needs. In fact, I often enjoy a walk outside during the day, so adding a furry pal to the mix is a win-win! The more the merrier, as they say.
