Michael has loved dogs since he was about the age of 2. He was always keen to say Hi to them and make a fuss of them as we passed by in the street. When Michael was about 8, we felt that he was getting old enough to take care of a dog with our support and we duly bought a little Jack Russell puppy which Michael chose from the litter and named Ruby. Michael has always made a big fuss of Ruby and has also always been keen to take her for a walk and give her her food. He is also very responsible with dogs and can make Ruby pay attention if she is doing anything silly or doing something that might put her at risk. He handles her very well (much better than myself!) Ruby has really missed Michael whilst he has been away at University and really looks forward to him coming home in the holidays and having more walks! I think Michael would make a very responsible and loving dog caregiver and would be very keen to understand and meet the needs and requirements of any dog in his care.
