Pro head-patter and belly-scratcher; I've worked as a pet-sitter for over 10 years watching all sorts of critters including dogs, fish, cats, birds...I'm looking to expand my network through Rover to better fund my hobbies; particularly motorcycle adventuring, surfing, and going on trips in my camper van!

Mike is super and good vibes! We first met for a meet and greet and my dog immediately gave him kisses and they hit it off right away. He was very loving and playful w my dog. If you’re in need of a trustworthy and genuine pet sitter look no further than Michael. Michael went above and beyond during his stay with my cats. I have an older cat that requires medication and a playful kitten. Staying with my cats can be a handful and Michael nailed every detail. I didn’t have to worry while I was away and he took great care of my home. He communicated very well and sent plenty of videos and photos. I highly recommend Michael and would absolutely use his services again!

I can hold space for many kinds of pet behavior and adapt to the energy they're putting out. I personally love frequent cuddle and play breaks throughout the day, but I can also respect any boundaries and expectations set by the owner and can recognize and respect when the animal is not yet entirelly receptive to me.

It's super important for me to know if your dogs have any special needs; especially things that are musts and must-nots. As a sitter, I thrive on schedules and routines to keep the dogs time with me consistent and predictable.
A typical day
Wake up, cuddle, eat, play! I'm typically very active and social; I love when I can bring a new dog around my friends and to some of the fun outdoor activites i like to do. My favorite places for walks are the beach and hiking trails where it's allowed. I also totally respect when that's too far out of the doggos comfort zone, not every dog is down for a 5 miles hike and that's totally okay too! I'm more than happy to just stroll around the neighborhood

My schedule is typically wide open, Ive taken a break from traditional work to allow more flexibility in the kind of free time I have. I'm very adaptable with schedule committments, I've got enough hobbies to find a way to have fun around whatever scheduling I need to work around. I've never missed a walk or feeding in all of my time pet-setting. I take great pride in being a consistently dependable sitter 🙂
