Pet care experience
I have had dogs and cats for most of my life. Unfortunately, I recently had to put down my 2 pit rescues, and currently have a Staffordshire Terrier. All well-behaved trained and calm. I would love to rescue more dogs, but currently staying with just me and Scrappy, as the dynamic in my home. I would love to have a home full of dogs again, especially your furry family members. Your pet will be treated like family. Your loved one will be in amazing care with someone who loves all animals.

Michael is incredibly kind and personable, and was so very sweet with my anxious pup (and anxious me). He kept in contact and sent photos during her stay. I felt very at ease that Rosie was in good hands, and she had a great time playing with Scrappy, who might be the cutest dog ever.
My puppy Pepper had an amazing weekend At Michael’s house. He and his girlfriend are very kind (to people and dogs), responsive, flexible and gentle mannered - I felt right at home when I dropped her off. His dog is very sweet and Pepper had a great time socializing. His updates are awesome, he has everything a dog could want at his home already and honestly I think my pup had a better time than she would have at home. I will definitely have pepper stay at Michael’s if he’s available the next time I’m away!
Michael is the BEST. Our dog has never been happier staying anywhere else. We will definitely be using Michael often. His dog scrappy is wonderful and such a sweet pup! He kept us updated and kept our puppy entertained and happy! Thanks again!!!
Michael was great with our 2 dogs who stayed with him for a long weekend. Our dogs are two years old and almost 11 years old so they have very different needs and energy levels, but Michael and his dog were great with both of them. we felt comfortable that they were well taken care of and He sent daily pictures and updates. Will work with Michael again anytime

Fenced in yard for your buddy/buddies to roam free. All dogs will have free-reign inside a safe, clean, non-smoking home, including on the furniture. Responsible 52-year old male with a secure job that I've had over 20 years. No children in the home. Non-smoking home. Quite, safe neighborhood where walks around the residential neighborhood seldom come across any cars during walks. I give my Scrappy, Diamond Naturals Beef Meal & Rice Formula Adult Dry Dog Food, and I will provide you pet with the same high quality food, unless otherwise directed. Your loved one(s) will be in the best care possible. When I leave for work every morning, I tell Alexa to play reggae music all day. I have music going at all hours in my home and I find that it creates a calm, soothing atmosphere for my dog. I take my dog for walks down Port Jeff often, and he has yet to meet a new dog where his tail isn't wagging with excitement. New friends for Scrappy will be welcome with open paws. Allow me the honor of caring for your loved one(s) and I can guarantee he/she will be happy and comfortable.

A typical day
I have a quiet neighborhood where I walk my dog. It rare to come across any cars on the road. I have a good sized, fenced in flat yard where I will give your pup's a good amount of attention. I take my dog down Port often for walks. I have a truck that could fit a few additional furry friends for an expedition down Port or Pirate's Cove.

Availability
I work 7a-3p Tuesday-Saturday/Monday-Friday rotating Schedule. I'm 5 miles from my job and home before 3:30. I prefer to spend my evenings at home, so I am available all evenings and the days where I am not required to be at my job.
