About 3 years ago I dropped in for my neighbor's dog morning and evening for a week, walking, feeding, playing, and cleaning up when she was hospitalized. The poor dog was suffering separation anxiety so I comforted her with gentle petting and a soft voice explaining everything is going to be ok and her owner will be home soon. Last year I house sat 3 dogs when my sister vacationed for several days, feeding, playing, and cleaning up. This year I helped my sister care for and feed weined puppies several times. This year I also helped another drop in sitter with letting out 3 dogs to an outdoor pen where they can run and play, feeding and playing morning and evening for several days for my sister.
