Pet care experience
I have experience volunteering with the Humane Society of DC working to adopt out rescue dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes. I’ve worked in a Doggy Day care wrangling 15 dogs at a time. I am a friend to all dogs and cats. I am assertive and in charge while also attentive and affectionate. I know how to project calm dominance. When walking, we always stay on leash and on the go. I'm available same day and on short notice. Will do what it takes to keep things smooth and comfortable for your pup or kitty, including walking, administering medication, taking to the park, grooming, washing. I have a had leopard gecko as well; willing to care for all kinds of animals. With dogs however, I have a preference for not too old and not too aggressive: please no pit bulls or bull dogs that could snap.

Michael and Fry were great with our Abby. Michael was extremely communicative and provided good updates. When Abby ate something on the street, Michael immediately told us and even checked in a few days later to see if Abby was okay. Which was super sweet and showed his dedication. We will definitely be using Michael again.
Michael was such a gem to have walk my lil chihuahua. Very professional, timely and very obviously a doggy dad himself! Work was extra demanding during the week I reached out to Michael and he was very happy to accommodate my schedule and Frank, the chihuahua, warmed up to him very easily. Next time I need a doggy sitter, I'm reaching out to this Rover again

If you’d like me to have your dog over, Fry is very friendly. On walks we stay leashed and stay in peaceful areas like the GW campus and the National Mall. If the dog isn’t too uncoordinated, we can get extra exercise by having the dog run alongside me on the city bike.

If your dog needs space away from mine, I have my crate, and I can separate them by rooms, as well as walk them individually. Otherwise, Fry gets along great with most dogs, he’s very friendly, but as long as we meetup before it should be great.
A typical day
We can walk around the GW campus, National Mall, White House, taking pictures along the way. There’s a great dog park near Trader Joes we love. We can also bike around, or just hang out in a client’s backyard.

Availability
I have my mini Poodle Fry who I take out in between writing jobs, so it would be great to have someone join us. I’m also a bit of a night owl, very flexible schedule. Mornings can be tough because I have to juggle getting Fry walked before I go out, and I teach ESL online in different time zones, so please bear with me and we can find a time that works.
