I am a "dog person" from a family of dog persons. One of my first baby pictures is with the family dog, Otto. In fact, I can't remember a time when there wasn't a family dog, either growing up, or when I moved out on my own. Dogs are people to me - each with their own unique personalities and needs. In 50 years of owning and caring for dogs, I have learned to treat each dog as just that: His or her own person. I love them, and they love me. Allow me to love yours.
