I have had dogs most of my life, or have been a regular sitter for my friends/ Coworkers dogs. I have always gotten along with dogs and they have always loved me, ever since I can remember. While my friends accuse me of cheating and using treats as a way to gain a dogs favor (with the owners approval of course). I believe it's because I am more than willing to provide my undivided attention to a dog by playing with them or petting them, and of course the occasional treat does help. I have two dogs of my own and know how important playing with dogs or taking them on walks can be. Especially high energy or intelligent dogs, need this a few hours a day or all that energy will be put into other things which might lead to destructive or negative behavior.
