Pet care experience
I have had dogs my entire life. As a child, I was a part of my family's breeding of English Springer Spaniels. I currently have two dogs - have trained and cared for them and they are great dog. I am now a retired teacher and have time to care for other dogs as well.

To all the pet owners and Rover.com, Rest assured that Mike will take very good care of your dogs. He has loved dogs and owned dogs all his life. He is absolutely responsible and reliable to do the job. If I was a dog, I would absolutely want him to be my dog walker. Seriously, he has a kind and gentle approach to dogs which is why I feel every dog is drawn to him.
Michael is simply the best! Micheal LOVES DOGS!!!! I repeat........LOOOOOOVVVVVVEEEEESSSS DOGS! He cares and treats our dogs Ingrid and Bo like our children! He is fantastic at keeping the pups busy with walks on the bike path, playing catch in the back yard, and most of all.....looking out for their safety. A unique quality of Mike's is that he believes that doggies speak ENGISH!!! All kidding aside, Michael will be reliable, kind and caring for your beloved dog.
Since I have known Michael, he has always been the person in the group to greet dogs with love regardless of where we are, or if he knows the dog or not. He has owned a half dozen dogs in his lifetime and has proven to be an excellent "dog dad", spoiling his dogs with love, belly rubs, long walks, and fetch. I have no doubt that Michael would treat any dog he cares for through Rover as one of his own.
Mike is the best! He will go above and beyond to make sure your pet is cared for and happy. He treats every pup like his own, with love and patience. Our dogs Bo and Ingy love him!

A typical day
I love to throw he ball, sticks, toys, etc. I usually take my dogs for walks on the bike path as well. Dog Beach is a great spot as well to take the dogs.
