I've spent my entire life growing up with dogs. My parents got a lab puppy one month after I was born and I've been around doggies ever since. I spent two years running a dog-walking business in Boston before I moved out to Oregon and I loved every second of it there. Once my wife and I arrived there, we adopted a dog from Heartland and we have met a LOT of different animals at the parks in the area. I've now relocated back to Arkansas. I currently work from home so I have been walking a lot of my neighbor's dogs during my free time. We like to go to the park and depending on the dog, we'll play fetch or socialize. I bring my dog Scout with me when I'm walking a dog that likes playing with other pups or I leave her home when needed. She LOVES other dogs and gets along with all animals (she tried to become friends with a bunny once.) My neighbor's dog Christie just likes to get out and smell the fresh air instead so there is a nice little path by my apartment that we walk down. It is my preferred path for dogs like her that don't like a lot of stimulus and get nervous easily. It all comes down to how the other dog feels and how you would like them to spend their time. Let your dog spend time with someone that loves them like their own :)
