Why SIT when we can PLAY?

Pet care experience

Most dogs don't like to stay still. So why would you want a dog sitter when you can have a Dog Player? Unable to have dogs growing up, I find spending time with our furry companions fun, energizing and stress-relieving. As an adult, I now have 3 dogs ranging from 16 lbs up to 70 lbs. They are different mixed breeds and all rescued from shelters. I have raised my 2 large dogs from puppies and all 3 have been self trained to sit, stay, give paw, lay down, "cage up" (they are crate trained when no one is home). My schedule is typically most flexible on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the moment. I am very patient and do not believe that violence is ever an answer to anything. I also have an SUV with a dog cover should it be needed. I enjoy taking my dogs to parks, off leash dog parks, long walks, and even random road trips. Of course, who wouldn’t want to be running through creeks and chasing long distance tennis balls?!?

Mike was amazing with our dog, he treated him like a king. I highly recommend him to anyone for both dog walks and pet sitting. He was tremendous, very caring, and kept us in the loop about how everything was going while we were away.

Michael is great with dogs! He watched Meeshka on occasion when I was at work or out of town. He’d walk her, take her to the park, and totally wear her out! I knew I could trust him because of how much he cares for his own pup!

Information Michael C. would like to know about your pet

While I am confident in my ability to understand a dogs needs and behavior, I would appreciate knowing what you would describe as your dog(s) most and least favorite activities. This helps me determine the mindset in which I approach them and also gives me an idea as to what they enjoy and activities we might be able to do together. If you are interested in socialization, I am happy to discuss puppy play dates.

A typical day

Neighborhood walks help maintain a familiar schedule for your dog, however, when possible I enjoy going for a nice stroll through parks such as Valley Forge. Getting your dog away from the rush of noise and traffic is a great way to relax and go for a stroll letting your tongue go wild. If approved, the off leash dog park offers 5 acres of natural things to sniff and explore while making friends. While I am not a runner, I enjoy some light jogging to get the blood flowing and tails wagging. Please note: Travel time for off-site walks is typically not considered part of your dogs 30 minute service. Feel free to ask if you have questions. When indoors, I'm usually the first one on the ground to play. From puppy snuggles to tug of war, your dog(s) get 100% of my attention.
