One of my dogs is a senior, and I have to give her medicine twice daily -- I'm comfortable pilling or using a treat to hide medicine. I'm also used to crazy energic breeds. My red heeler is a nut, especially if you mention the word 'ball' -- he will be at the door faster than you can blink your eye.
