Recently moved to Chicago from Boston where I both boarded and house sat two dogs on a regular basis. Raja (5 year old Boxer) and Maverick (13 year old Chihuahua mix) were a pleasure to care for on a monthly (sometimes weekly) basis. I currently have a work schedule that allows me to be home, when needed, multiple times a day. With a dog park 1 block away, the running path on the lake and a car to transport the dogs anywhere (hiking [on leash] etc), I know that your dog with get all the attention and activity it would need on a daily basis. I currently live alone with no other pets, however my building is filled with other dogs of all sizes. I am looking for the perfect dog to adopt of my own and figured in the meantime could benefit from watching over others.
