Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs (collies and golden retrievers) and have a 4 year old ECG retriever at home (Mac!). Neighbors rely on me to watch their pups and cats when they’re out of town, including walks, feeding, administering medicine when needed and hosting their dogs in our home.

Michael watched our 2 dogs for the first time and he was great! He sent pictures during their stay and texted with a question to make sure our older dog was ok. Definitely plan to leave our pups with him again.
It was Oakley’s first time with a sitter and he couldn’t have been in better hands. Michael and his wife were so kind and accommodating. Michael was wonderful about keeping us updated and sending pictures and always responded to our texts right away. Their dog Mac was super sweet and kept Oakley entertained. We felt completely comfortable leaving him and he had a fabulous time. We have already recommended him to friends and would definitely book again.
Thank goodness we found Michael and his wife for our Jax. I couldn't ask for more. There was nothing they weren't willing to do to be sure that Jax had a great stay and that I wasn't sick with worry. Jax just one year old now and full of sled dog energy and so every video they sent me was of his joyful playing. It was very comforting to know that he was having a great time while I was missing him. Their dog Mac was a lovely soul too and a great friend for my little man. I intend on using them for daycare too in the future. Catherine D.
Our pug, Capone, had a great stay with Mike and his wife! They checked in with us about questions/activities and took Capone on adventures to the dog park and around town. Capone felt so at home, he even “helped” Mike work from home on the couch! We would certainly recommend Mike as a caring, responsible dog-sitter!

Your furbaby will be treated as a member of our family when staying with us. We’ll take them on walks, hikes, park trips and even the beach (on the weekends!). When in our home, your pet will spend time with our friendly Golden Retrievier and have plenty of cuddle time on the couch. I can accomodate any feeding or walking schedule, and have plenty of experience administering medication when necessary. We have a veterinary clinic within a 5 minute drive in case of emergency.

A typical day
I’m a big fan of outdoor time and enjoying the wonderful New York weather with our puppy guests. We’ll go on walks around town, go to nearby parks, and we can spend time at my apartment’s private dog park!

Availability
I currently work a day job but am working from home and have a flexible schedule, especially during the evening. My weekends are typically completely free for you and your furbaby’s needs! I’m happy to take last minute (fewer than 36 hours in advance) for an additional charge.
