Hi my name is Mike. I am a proud owner of a service dog “Zelda” who is a German Shepherd. She is a sweet heart and gets along GREAT with other dogs. She is 4 years old. I have a wife Stephanie who is a dog lover as much as I am. I am a personal trainer in the Hoboken/Jersey City area with a lot of flexibility in my schedule where I am always going back and forth from my apartment to my clients. I have a nice sized apartment in Jersey City (10th street) that also has a dog pen on the same floor as my apartment so it’s really easy for me to provide exercise for any dogs. There is also a dog park just a block away (Hamilton park) so there are many options! Both me and my wife have done a tremendous job training our dog Zelda to be the amazing service dog that she is. We put her in great behavioral habits since we got her when she was a puppy. From a young age we taught Zelda to ring the bells on the door incase she needed to go out. Taught her at a young age to be patient when it’s her time to eat. She waits for my command to eat and doesn’t go right for the food when it’s poured. She also waits for my command to walk through any door. Just because the door is opened does not mean that she leads the way. It is always important to establish who is the pack leader. She is always so well behaved because of how much exercise she gets on a daily basis mostly due to my availability to be around her and that we live just seconds away from our dog pen and minutes away from the dog park. Would love to be able to teach and treat other dogs the same great habits we got Zelda into. So if you’re looking for someone to board/walk your dog look no further!
