My name is Micayla and I currently work at DoveLewis Emergency Animal Hospital as a Lead in the Specialty department for 3 years, and previous to that, I was an Emergency Assistant in the ER for two years. I am knowledgeable in every temperament of dog and cat. A day at my job consists of me administering medications to patients, restraining animals safely for treatments, giving animals fluids, assisting in surgeries, assisting during STAT situations, and plenty more! It is hectic but I love it. Previous to this job, I worked for 2 years as a Medical Assistant in the human world! (Trained in phlebotomy, injections, CPR, etc) and previous to that I worked at a veterinary hospital for 2 years. I currently have three dogs (a Boxer, Boston Terrier, and French Bulldog) and three cats. They all have great temperaments as we are current fosters through the Oregon Humane Society and Multnomah County Animal Shelter. My fiancé also works in the veterinary field as a certified veterinary technician. I would love to come by to give your sweet baby some one on one cuddles or go out on a nice walk! ❤️
