Pet care experience
I've worked in mental health for about five years. But, when I got married we decided that I finally needed to get this school thing wrapped up. So here I am! As far as dogs, I've had pets of all kinds my entire life. I love the rescues that no one else will take. I've bitten more times than I can count. Worked with dogs with various trauma and anxiety. Treated some nasty boo-boos. Etc. Educationally speaking I have taken Biology 1, am taking General Zoology. Watched a ton of animal documentaries and dog training/rehabilitation shows as a kid. RIP Steve Irwin.

My wife and I are currently looking to rescue our first furever fur baby as a couple. Just today before writing this very application we went to the pet store, got some food, and drove to pick up a dog and take her home. But by the time we got there, Penelope had already been claimed by the family that initially pulled her out of the garbage. In reference to your dog(s). Over one hundred pounds is the size I have the most experience with. The smaller from they're the easier. I don't have any allergies. I'm open to due something more physically strenuous with your dog(s). Like running, chasing them, tricking them, fetch, tug of war, some light wrestling, etc.

Can't really think of anything SUPER important to warn me about ahead of time. Maybe, if possible; what we will be doing, our energy level, if we've had a rough or unusual day or week, if we're stressed, if we love to jump up on people, if we slobber, what habits we're learning, etc.
A typical day
If your dog likes running, being chased, being tricked, fetch, tug of war, some light wrestling, that's all great! Whatever their favorite game is I'm down!

Life is busy for all of us. Starting on the Rover app, I am only planning to do Fridays. As I don't have class on that day. But if you have specific needs, I am super open to hearing them. Getting in a set routine with someone who needs it sounds awesome!
