Pet care experience
I have been working with dogs for over 10 years. I have vet experience and know how to do CPR on your furbaby! I use positive reinforcement methods. Walks, play dates, and overnight stays are all things I am more than happy to do to keep your family friend happy. I have worked at several day care centers taking care of upwards of 90 dogs on a regular basis. I have cared for several dogs with varying health issues from diabetes to seizures, and know how to handle these health issues. Caring for your family member, and making sure they are safe and happy while you are living your life!

Micah took care of my pup Winter, a spunky little border collie mix. At the time they permitted Winnie to stay at his home and he had SO much fun. I got regular photos and updates. One of the photos they took is still one of my favorites to date! Winter has pretty bad food allergies, so I'm usually very particular about what people are giving him. I always worry my pet sitter will be careless, but I came home to a pup who was totally fine and not shitting all over the place; meaning his diet was respected! Winnie also needs meds daily and that didn't seem to be an issue for anyone, and he can be a stinker. All in all, Winnie and I both had a great vacation and I came home to a dog that was as healthy and happy as when I left. Great sitter and such a way with animals!
Micah is knowledgeable, experienced, calm, and deeply empathetic. He has always been patient with my (extremely annoying) dachshund and elderly, deaf pitty. He is reliable and composed in a crisis; highly recommend!

For dogs I do require meet and greets prior to booking. If your pet is to stay with me I have two other dogs and a fenced in back yard with room for them to run. I have the ability to kennel/crate your dog if required(preferred if left alone). I can also do check ins at your home and offer play time and/or walks. If I am booked for house sitting, staying the night will have to be discussed since I have two dogs of my own that also need to be taken care of
