Pet care experience
I am a student at the WCVM and I have had experience with all types of animals for the past 15 years. I currently work at a small animal veterinary clinic so I have cared for many dogs, cats and exotics during this time. Animal care is my top priority.

Micaela is amazing and my cats love her! They were happy and content while I was away and Micaela went above and beyond to cuddle with them, take care of them, and send me photos! She kept me informed and responded very quickly. It was a pleasure having her help us and I will for sure book with her again!
Puppies were very happy and well taken care of. Michaela stayed at our house throughout and left things spotless. Photos and day comments were much appreciated Well done would highly recommend
Micaela was wonderful with our cat Noelle!! She loved Micaela instantly and we loved the photos and updates during their visits. I would highly recommend Micaela and ask her to pet sit again. It eased our minds to be away and not worry about our pet!
Michaela was excellent. Our kitties were well taken care of. She even washed the kitty dishes and dried them.

As mentioned above; animal care is my number 1 priority. The safety and well-being of the animals come first. I am comfortable giving medications, injections and following routines for cats, dogs and small mammals if needed. I have been working at the same veterinary clinic for 5 years and have been trained in fear-free protocols since then. I am comfortable with spicy cats, anxious dogs, you name it. I am also very comfortable sending pictures and updates daily if requested so you know your fur babies are taken care of :)

I would like to know if your dog is friendly with other dogs, if they are high energy, if they have any triggers, commands, etc. I also need to know about any allergies your pets may have.
A typical day
Being a puppy mom right now my day consists of a lot of enrichment. Walks in parks, play dates with other dogs (only if permitted), lots of one-on-one training and lots of treats!

Availability
I do work full time (8-10 hour shifts) during the summer (May through August). I do receive lunch breaks where I can drop by and visit animals (Saskatoon only). During the rest of the year I will be in class 8-5 Monday through Friday.
