Pet care experience
Hello! I’m an active runner and work-from-home mom and have been taking care of pets for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I had a total of 3 cats and 1 dog, an active black labrador! My family now has 2 dogs - a Yorkie and an Akita - that have been with us for 10+ years. I enjoy spending time outdoors, going on walks, and running. If you have an active dog who needs to get some energy out, we’d be a perfect fit! I also enjoy playing or relaxing indoors with my family and pets. They are an important part of our family and are almost always right next to us. I know how important it is for our animals to be well taken care of. Now that it’s getting cold, I realize it’s harder to get out and about and get their energy out - I’d be honored to care of yours!

I find Micaeh to be a very loving and responsible person. Commitment to a task is very important to those who need to rely on you and this is something one can always find in Micaeh; her yes is yes and her no is no. I highly recommend Micaeh for she will be gentle, but firm with the dogs in her care.

At my home: We do not have a fenced yard, so we take our pets outside often to let them roam around and/or go for walks. We run around and play with them when they’re up for it (they are older now, so not as active as before). In a client’s home, I would give any and all pups much needed company, play with them, give them lots of pets and kisses (if they like that!), toss balls or ropes or whatever toys they like, etc.

I would like to know if your dog can handle running or would prefer to walk, and how far they typically go. I wouldn’t push a dog to work harder than it’s used to! My Akita prefers long, leisurely walks so we go at her pace. Any of their likes/dislikes or unique quirks would be helpful to know as well.
A typical day
We would go on walks (or runs) around your neighborhood (or a nearby park, if available). If your dog enjoys playing fetch and is able to do so off a leash or in a fenced area, we would do that too! Quiet, relaxing cuddles indoors are important too, if that’s what your pup likes - so really just depends on what they like/need!

I currently work homeschool my two kids, work from home, and have a flexible schedule most afternoon/evenings. My weekends are are flexible too, but varied some from week to week.
