Hi! I am a mom to 1 human child (hence the Spiderman reference, did you catch that?) and lots of animal children! We have our own personal zoo at home with 3 large breed dogs, 3 cats, 1 leopard gecko, about 30 fish and my own mealworm and isopod colonies. I have always been a major animal lover - big, small, furry, scaley, you name it, I'll love it! I have worked with rescues on and off since I was a teenager and I dabble in amateur training so I am confident with animal cues and signals. You can rest assured knowing that not only will your animals be loved and cared for as my own but they will be respected. Building trust is very important! I also have my own private pet care insurance! As for why I do pet care - the answer is simple. I do it because I personally understand how stressful it is to go out of town, leaving your pets in someone else's care. With me taking care of them, you will feel a major sense of relief. I have very reliable transportation as well as a very open schedule so I am able to make as many trips to check on them as needed. If you need boarding, I am able to keep your pets separate from mine if preferred. Message me and lets chat! ***Adult dogs must be 100% crate trained. Puppies must be at least working on it. NO EXCEPTIONS. I do not want to waste your time so if your dog is not crate trained, please do not reach out about boarding. Thank you for your understanding!*** This is what I do full time! I wake up at 6am every day so the dogs can get lots of outside time before it gets too hot. During the day they get to lounge around the house in the A/C with quick potty breaks. In the evening, once it's cooled down, they get more playtime outside. I do crate for bedtime. I have a very nice, shaded backyard with very high walls. Your dog will always be supervised when outdoors. I am very communicative with my clients and will always reach out to you before making any decisions on matters I feel you may want input on. I do not do dog introductions during meet & greets and I will not do them with owners present either. I only do them on the 2nd or 3rd day after giving your dog time to relax in the new environment. I do not believe in overwhelming them with a new place and new dogs all at once. Doing introductions without you present removes your dogs need to protect you and prevents them from feeding off your energy if you are nervous. I assess all dogs' personalities and only introduce those I feel are a good match. I will not put a high energy dog with a very low energy dog, for instance. If I am not comfortable for any reason, I will not risk an intro and have the set up to keep everyone separate for the duration of the stay. For house sitting: I am a non-smoker, non drug user and I do not drink alcohol. I will not bring others into your home without your explicit permission.
