Experienced Pet Caretaker
Pet care experience
Hi, my name is Mia! Since 2016, I’ve been working at Paw-Tastics Pet Salon in Grand Blanc and have now become a dog groomer! Tuesday through Saturday I work 8am to 5:30pm, but that’s not a problem because your pup can spend the day with me at work and play with the other dogs! For the past 7 years, 5 of the 7 days of the week have been spent with dogs and cats, so pet care is all I know! Working at Paw-Tastics has allowed me to form relationships with customers and begin house/pet sitting for them. At one point, one of my clients was saying I was their pups step-mom. Working with animals has always been my passion, so if I’m able to use Rover to meet new pets (and humans too) I’m definitely going to. If you’re looking for someone with experience and who will take the time to make your pet happy, I’m your gal!

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fully fenced in BIG yard, and cameras all over to ensure the safety is of all dogs. Most pets that are in my care go EVERYWHERE with me, and if they can’t go then I can’t go. I never want to take the risk of a pet running off, or who knows what, so I always monitor. I’m also first aid certified with both cats and dogs.

Information Mia T. would like to know about your pet
Before I have a dog stay with me, I need to know that they are 100% okay with cats. I have cats of my own and will not lock them up to accommodate a pet staying with me, so they must be kind to cats.
A typical day
My day starts early, roughly 7am. When I have a pet staying with me, the first thing taken care of is them. Morning potty break, breakfast, any meds (if applicable), and back outside to potty. Then it’s my turn to get ready! Once we’re both prettied up, we head off to work for the day. While I work, the pet staying with me gets an all day play date with the various fun dogs we have come into the salon or they can nap in a cozy bed near my work station. After work, the pet staying with me and I head home to wind down. Before anything, they get their dinner, medication (if applicable), and potty break. It’s their turn to help me make dinner after that! Of course, you can’t forget playtime. Finally, we unwind, after a potty break, and it’s time for bed. Pets generally cozy up with me in bed

Availability
Pet care is the only thing I do! Your pet can come to work with me if they’re staying with me because I work in a grooming salon. I think I have the perfect full-time job to do pet sitting alongside it.
