Pet care experience
From pit bulls to Anatolian shepherds to rat terriers and many more, I’ve been around dogs my entire life! Family members and friends have relied on me to care for their dogs since I was a child, and I continue to do so today. Without a dog of my own for the time being, my huge family of dog owners use me as their go-to dog sitter whenever they can. I am also quite experienced with senior dogs and have a huge heart for them as my family owned a border collie, Kelty, who lived up until the age of 16 and I spent much of my time caring for her.

Mia is amazing! She was so excited to meet and take care of my pup. She was reliable and went out of her way to send extra pictures and videos of my pup while I was out of town. We are definitely adding her to our regular rotation!
Energetic, patient, loving and considerate. Mia is a wonderful pet sitter who has cared for both my 16 year old Labrador and 10 year old crazy dog. She understands their very different needs and manages it all beautifully, including one dog who doesn’t play well with others. I would absolutely recommend Mia. She is a bright and caring soul with love to spare for your furry friend.

I am very experienced in caring for dogs within other people’s homes! I’m careful to keep things clean and tidy and of course I’m always respectful of the home. For drop-in visits, I love puppy snuggles or playing fetch outside, whatever suits your dog the best!
Information Mia S. would like to know about your pet
Whether or not they may be aggressive towards other dogs so I can be hyper-aware on walks, trips to the park, etc… I would also love to meet you and your pet ahead of time so I can introduce myself and make the dog feel safe if I later on enter the home without anybody else there.
A typical day
Spending time with dogs is therapeutic for me, and I want it to be therapeutic for your dog too! We’ll go on walks, play fetch, snuggles and belly scratches, or anything else that suits your dog best!

Availability
I am currently a full time student and my schedule is different from day to day during workweeks. Mondays I’m free in the morning, Tuesdays after 11:30am, Wednesdays in the morning/early afternoon or evening, Thursdays in the afternoon, and Friday in the evening. Weekends are completely open!
