My mother owns her own dog grooming business in Mayfair Philadelphia-The Barking Lot- so I've been around dogs my whole life. I walked multiple dogs in my neighborhood every day of the week when I was in high school and would occasionally be asked to watch them while their families were away. I used to dog sit a pit bull with bad anxiety so I'm experienced with special care such as giving (and getting them to take) their medicine. I was also responsible for and am now capable of handling up to 4 dogs at once. I would say dogs understand me when I speak to them. I believe they are creatures that can dictate whether someone has good intentions, and I have never had a bad experience with any dog ever. And I can understand that when they bite, they were either raised that way or they are just scared. I will do anything I can to make them feel safe and loved.
