Quality care when you need it most!
Pet care experience
Hi, I'm Mia! I love music, hiking, and taking my dog to local parks. I know what it's like to have a busy schedule, so I understand the need to know that a caring, trustworthy person is taking care of my pets. That is why I will tend to all of your pets needs when you need it the most.
Reviews
Mia was a wonderful dog sitter for our golden retriever! We really appreciated that she took the time to come meet us, and Huckleberry, before the weekend, and she was so calm and loving to Huckleberry when she met her (and all weekend)! Mia was also great with communicating, and kept us updated via pictures and videos which we really appreciated. When we got home our house looked exactly like it did when we left! Thank you so much Mia!
Mia was a wonderful dog/house sitter. We would hire her again and again. Mia communicated well with great photos while we were away and we returned to a happy dog and tidy home. Mia was great.
Mia was delightful. She stayed in our home for five nights with two dogs (a two year old and a six month old - both large breeds) and two cats. She exercised, played with and cuddled with them all. We received immediate replies to texts and she also shared a couple of videos that were comforting. First time using a service and we were very pleased. I will not hesitate to contact Mia again.
I returned home to find my cat, Azland, with a life-threatening infection that was impeding his ability to breath. His face was so swollen that he could not close his eye, and I could not close it for him. The smell was awful, and it was clear that an infection was present. The emergency vet would later tell me that two tracks had formed from the infection-one into his mouth and another under his chin. When I later checked, drainage was present all over his bed. When I called Mia her response was "I thought his eye looked like that because he's old". Mia had seen Azland in perfect health at the meet and greet, as well as at the beginning of her stay. Mia never bothered to reach out again to see how Azland was doing. This infection had clearly been present for some time. Azland was suffering and in pain. Not only did he see the emergency vet, but his regular vet four separate times. He had to receive X-rays, wound care, IV hydration, antibiotics, anti-inflammatories, pain medication, and eye drops. Thank goodness Azland recovered from this infection, but he is now blind in that eye. While I understand that Mia did not cause this infection, her extreme negligence allowed a simple infection to grow into a severe infection that has now caused permanent damage. Prior to leaving, I emphasized to Mia that both myself and my neighbor were available to her at all times. I stressed my desire for her to take the cats to the vet if she had any concerns. I later found out that Mia also has 24/7 access to veterinary support from Rover. I do not recommend Mia for any type of animal care. There is no excuse for her complete disregard for the health of my cat. I would give her zero stars if allowed.

Information Mia P. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know... - What kind of personality your dog or cat has - If they get along with other animals - If they have any triggers while on walks (others dogs, strangers, bikes, etc.) - If they tend to have accidents in the house/chew on things - How long you are comfortable with them being alone for - Food preferences and eating schedule - Medication needs - Any info you want to share with me, don't hesitate!
A typical day
I love hanging out with doggies and cats! I love to play fetch, give belly rubs, or just keep them company while you are at work or away. I enjoy taking my dog to local parks, however I will walk your dog around the neighborhood, play with them in the yard, or I can take them to a park if you prefer that.

I've been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. Besides owning dogs and cats (and snakes!) since I was 7 years old, I previously worked at a vet office as a Vet Technician Assistant for a year before moving away for school. This included walking dogs, feeding them, bathing, and providing medicine when necessary. I also took care of the cats (fed, cleaned litter boxes, and provided lots of love).
