All creatures need and deserve to have their physical and emotional needs met, including comfortable routines, loving attention, and fun. My approach is calm, gentle, and goofy. In addition to walks, I am comfortable with rugged hikes and playing fetch or by the water with dogs I work full-time in higher ed, and my online and in person work hours are flexible. My availability on weekends and this coming summer is even greater. Our dog and cat have routines that they have clearly internalized. We try provide positive experiences such as treat time to both simultaneously, so they like each other. Our home is calm and cheerful with daylight, space, and no clutter.
