I'm a dog's best friend!
Pet care experience
Growing up, I have been around and handled just about every type of critter. I have cared for corgis, standard poodles, Chihuahuas, huskies, and shepherds. I have not had a dog for a few years now and I miss being around that big happy face and wagging tail. I have been known to save red listed dogs (and cats) from the shelter and foster them, or return strays to their owner or to a suitable new home. I am patient, gentle, calm, and animals love me! I love all breeds and enjoy a good long walk myself. Bigger breeds do not phase me and I am comfortable walking a strong dog who may like to pull. All dogs are welcome to do yoga with me!

Mia has hung out with my dog, Paris, on multiple occasions. She is loving and sweet with Paris. Mia also plays with her and keeps her company when I can’t attend to her myself.

It helps to know if there are any sounds or sights that the dog is not a fan of so we can be sure to avoid them. Favorite treats, walking routes, and whether he/she likes to be brushed (I love fluffy breeds!) is also helpful information. I love all breeds but have a soft spot for huskies, shepherds, Rottweilers, dobermans, Great Danes, Irish wolfhounds, low-content wolf mixes, and shiba inus.
A typical day
There will be belly rubs! I can walk fast for dogs that just want to 'get where they're going', or slowly for those that want to stop and smell the roses, literally.
