Pet care experience
Hi there! My name is Mia and I recently moved to VA and am looking to do overnight dog sitting in addition to my full-time job. Back home, I have a dog of my own (though she was unfortunately unable to move with me!), and my mother previously owed her own pet sitting business. I've helped her with her business in the past, so I've cared for dogs (as well as cats, birds, etc.) of all breeds and ages. Additionally, my own dog is reactive, so I'm comfortable around similar animals. I love both all kinds of animals and would love to talk more about looking after your furry friends.

Mia watched my lab when I was away with my family and I have no complaints. My dog is really hyper so I was worried that she would not be able to handle him but she took great care of him and my dog seemed to love her.

Safety is my number one priority when it comes to pets. I want to keep your pet safe, as well as others who may encounter your pet when I'm watching them. As a result, I'd like to know about any aggression or reactive behavior so I know how to handle situations if your pet encounters other people or animals on a walk or otherwise.
Information Mia M. would like to know about your pet
I have no breed preferences, but I would like to know if the dog has ever bit someone or shown any signs of aggression. It will not stray me from caring for the dog, but I would like to know beforehand just to keep in mind. Additionally, I would like to know about any medications, food allergies, if the dog is good around children or strangers (i.e. if we are on a walk and someone wants to pet the dog, is that okay?), favorite toys, and anything else the owner thinks is important.
A typical day
I will take dogs anywhere around the neighborhood. If there is a dog park and the dog is well socialized, I would be more than willing to take him or her there!

Availability
Because I have a full time job, I can only offer overnight pet sitting service in the client's home. Right now, I work remotely 95% of the time, and eventually I will be going into the office up to three days a week; however, I won't be in office for the full 8-hour work day on those day, so I'm fairly flexible in being able to walk your pet during the day. On the weekends, I typically have full availability to walk, feed, and play with your animal.
