Experienced, energetic dog lover!
Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Mia, and I am an animal lover through and through. I've had dogs my whole life, and currently own three amazing rescue pups and have had countless other pets as well. I’m a recent grad from the University of Washington and I’ve been a dog walker and pet sitter for the past 7 years. I am also an Adoption Coordinator and Board Secretary for a nonprofit dog rescue that I have been a volunteer with for about 6 years. Through my work with rescue, I have handled dogs of all breeds, ages, sizes, and temperaments both at our rescue facility and in my own home as a foster parent. My foster pups have ranged from fearful to anxious to dog reactive and everything in between—I’ve seen it all! I am excited to work with your dog (or other animals) and all of their quirks to make their experience a positive one.
Reviews
Mia is great!
I've had Mia look after my two dogs multiple times now and she is always wonderful and professional. My dogs both love her and she is so good at managing both their individual on-leash behavior issues/reactive nature (rescue dog and pandemic puppy). On top of fantastic dog care, Mia is very respectful of your space. She stayed on and off at my house for a week and everything was as I left it upon return. I cannot recommend Mia enough as a dog sitter
Mia was amazing with our anxious dog.
Mia is punctual and trustworthy with our pup! I am always reassured knowing she’s coming to take our girl for a walk.

I do not currently offer overnight bookings, but check back in! I currently reside in Seattle’s UDistrict and live in a dog friendly home with 3 dog friendly housemates, so field trips to my house, Ravenna Park, UW, and more are always possible.
Information Mia L. would like to know about your pet
It would be helpful for me to know if your dog has any triggers that I need to be aware of while we're out walking or in your home. Are they afraid of bikes riding by, or not a fan of large dogs? Or maybe they need to be approached slowly when meeting new people; whatever the case may be, please let me know so I can create a positive experience for your dog. I have no breed preferences and am open to anything (cats included)!
A typical day
I enjoy being outdoors, and would love to cater your pup's walking experience to their needs. Whether that means sticking to a familiar neighborhood route, exploring a new nearby hiking trail, or even going on a jog or a run, I'm up for it all!
