Solo Care for Big Pups

Pet care experience

Born and raised with dogs! Aspiring service animal trainer. 2 large rescues growing up, cared for through end of life (13 and 16). Dog-aunt to 2 more rescues, a pitbull and a boxer mix. 3 years fostering a 1/2 wolf, now in a loving home in the Midwest. Spreading the love until I adopt my own pup!

Mia is AMAZING. We have a super high energy big puppy and she was so great with him. She kept him exercised and happy for a week. We got tons of updates and pictures and she couldn't be any nicer. She has a great set up for dogs. THANK YOU MIA!

Mia took amazing care of our Kona while we were away. I don’t want to go into too much detail because we want Mia all to ourselves ;) Your pet is in great hands, here!!

There are 2 unavoidable steps to the back yard, our elderly dog had trouble with these in her last year but otherwise they are gentle. **I only accept 1 client household at a time**

Information Mia H. would like to know about your pet

1. What is a typical day for this pup? 2. Any dietary restrictions? How do you feel about treats? Please let me know your preferences. 3. Any history of aggression, or other behavioral needs? (usually OK, I have experience rehabilitating strong/sensitive pups, just please let me know in advance) 4. Are you OK with car travel? Please let me know any restrictions or preferences. 5. Anything else we should know/do? (I know how stressful it can be to leave your pup with someone else, and am happy to customize care as needed!)

A typical day

A typical week day includes indoor and outdoor play (squeaky, ball, puzzle), neighborhood walks, and potential beach or park visit if the pup is energetic and social. Hike & Park: I'm a few blocks from the trailhead up to Meder Street park, which has LOTS of exciting smells for furry friends! This is a pup favorite, since the nice nature walk leads right to the dog park. Drive & Hike: I'm an avid hiker, so if the pup is OK with a short drive we can explore the redwoods, hills, or coastline on the weekends!
