Pet care experience
I have worked with animals since I was 14, but I was always surrounded with many different animals growing up. My family owns a horse stable and I’ve been able to grow up with my personal horse and also had the opportunity to work as a camp counselor teaching children how to care and ride horses. While I was in highschool I worked at a traditional animal hospital for 2 years as a vet assistant/animal care attendant shift leader, I worked with many different breeds/sizes of dogs & cats and occasionally pigs! I currently work at an animal rehabilitation hospital and as a veterinary assistant.

Mia was great, I could see that my dog was relaxed in all the photos she sent and she was sure to check in daily with me to keep me at ease while away. Will definitely use her again for future trips 🙌🏻
Mia watched my dogs for a week over my break. She was a great caregiver for my dog. I have absolutely no complaints, when I came back my dogs were their normal happy self!
Mia does a fabulous job with our two dogs. My older dog is blind and slightly nervous/reactive. As soon as Mia arrives and he hears her voice, he is happy. Our younger dog looks forward to Mia's playful energy during her visits. Mia has to walk our dogs separately (the older dog is a lot of work on walks) and she always provides both dogs with equal love and attention. She has a real gift with animals and I highly recommend her as a loving pet sitter/walker.
I hired Mia to watch my cat while we went away on vacation and I was so happy I found her! My cat does not like anyone but my husband or myself so I was a little worried but they got along great! Mia did a great job of cleaning her litter box, making sure she got fed at the right times and that her water was always full. She even updated and sent pics when I asked how it was going. Mia will be the first person I call next time we need a cat sitter. Highly recommend!

A typical day
Depending on the energy level and health level of your pet I will take the dogs on walks, play in the yard, create stimulation toys or activies (scavenger hunts, snuffle mats, frozen kongs etc) specified for your pet!

Availability
I’m currently a full time college student at Mississippi State University. I usually have 2 classes per day and other than that will be available for your pet! If you message me I will personally let you know my exact class schedule the week or day you need me so you can decide if I’m a good fit for your pet.
