Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of animals since I was 10 years old; for my family’s friends, neighbors, and my own pets including dogs, cats, birds, bunnies, guinea pigs, and more. I’m currently in college and I hope to become a vet, I want to help animals in any way I can!

Mia has taken care of my dogs and cat for years. She is our absolute favorite pet sitter and I always contact her first. Mia is responsible with making timely visits and always goes above and beyond with the animals. When staying in my home, Mia is neat, respectful, and responsible. I have never had a concern or complaint. My animals love her and go crazy when she comes to the gate or door. She is my dogs favorite person and my cat even comes to socialize with her (he doesn't do that with many). I highly recomend Mia for pet/house sitting. You will truly not have a reason to worry about your furry family members.

No matter your home/area I love to play with any fur babies and keep them safe and well entertained. I am flexible and can care for any animal in any way you see fit! Prior to accepting a care position for a pet, I go over questions around food, exercise, your own concerns, as well as a history of separation and weather anxiety. I ask for clarity around limits and boundaries in the home so I can be a reliable source of information for your pet as well as putting your minds at ease. Another thing I like to ask is how to best make your babies comfortable with a new person. Any pet is going to miss their owners and I like to know what will help them adjust the best way, as well as what makes you confident to leave them. I want to be sure everyone is happy and feels safe!

A typical day
I love to be active and involved with any pet that I care for! I am here for your pet, not the other way around. I will adjust my schedule for their benefit and comfort. I will take them on walks, play with them, and give them lots of pets and cuddles. I will make sure they can get out their energy and receive the love and care they deserve!

I’m currently in college at UNCC, so I would have to work around my class schedule but I am very flexible with hours. I am a full time student so I don’t have any other job hours to work around.
