Pet care experience
I am a recently evacuated Peace Corps volunteer missing my dog who I had to leave overseas due to a program-wide rule forbidding animals to travel home with volunteers in the case of an evacuation. :( While I wait for borders to open up so I can return to my village, my job, and my pup, I would love to help anyone who has their hands full with this pandemic, while selfishly receiving some puppy love too! My experience caring for dogs is lifelong as I grew up having a family dog. I understand and am excited about the energy that dogs bring into the daily lives of us people. I am also quite aware that every dog is unique, so it is important to get to know the habits and the needs of each dog individually in order to provide the best care for your beloved creatures.

Mia is an extremely responsible pet owner and sitter. Along with treating her own dog with the utmost love, she has looked after my dog and dogs of other friends. She has a lot of experience with dog walking and would make a great fit as a dog walker for rover.
Mia has watched my dog for years. She is dependable and has cared for him lovingly. She follows my guidance in terms of where and when to pick him up, how to feed him, how to walk with him, etc. I can count on her to take very good care of my dog. I can't recommend Mia highly enough.
While I love my little dog very much, I have to admit, she is quite high maintenance (doesn't usually like anyone outside of the family and has various diet restrictions and health problems). I was always a little nervous going out of town and leaving her with someone else, but Mia won her over! By day two she was sending me videos of the two of them snuggled up and having a great time playing outside. Now Mia is my go-to whenever I have to go out of town! Mia is very reliable and trustworthy I would highly recommend her to any of my friends and family!
