Pet care experience

Hiya! My name is Mia, I’m a 23 year old, LA native. Growing up in a dog family, caring for dogs has innately become a hobby of mine. My recent dog, Louie was an English bulldog we welcomed into our home when he was just a pup. Over time he developed a terminal illness that took us through constant cleanings, medications, and mood swings. Even though I don’t have my best bubs with me anymore, those 5 years taught me so much about taking care of pets. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of caring for my family and friends’ cats and dogs which has helped me realize I love giving my time and attention to our furry pals. So whatever your pet needs, a walk, medication, a wash, a play friend, or a snuggle, I’m your gal!

Mia is the best. Maddy is happier when I get home than when I left!

Safety, trust & environment

My main concern before I enter a clients home is immediately finding out how I can accommodate your pets needs. What schedules do I need to follow, is there any allergens, exercise routines, etc. Once I know the important factors for caring for your pet, my next concern would be giving my time and attention to make sure that your pet is feeling comfortable, safe, and most importantly, having fun!

Information Mia B. would like to know about your pet

Is there any allergies I should know about your pet? (food, environmental) Is there any behavioral aggressions? And if so, how do you manage those aggressions when demonstrated? Does your pet get separation anxiety? How much food does your pet get and how often? Is a harness needed for walks or would a leash and collar be okay? Does your pet have a schedule for walks? Is your pet potty-trained, and/or vaccinated? Is your pet okay to be left alone? If so, how long? Does your pet get any treats?

A typical day

I'm interested in stimulating your pet physically and mentally. I would love to hear if they have any favorite walks/parks/trails that they enjoy going on. If not, your pet(s) and I can go on adventures and walk throughout the neighborhood. Does your pet like going on hikes? So do I! If comfortable with the client, I would love to drive your pet to trails and walk with them. Is your pet a homebody? Great! I'd love to know what activities stimulate them physically/mentally at home.
