Pet care experience
More than anything, I choose to work with animals because they bring me immense joy. Even before I had pets of my own I volunteered at the humane society and walked dogs in the neighborhood, anything to spend time with animals. As an adult I’ve now spent years taking care of other peoples’ dogs and cats as well as my own. I have taken care of puppies, kittens as young as four weeks old, and elderly dogs and cats. I am comfortable adjusting my care to meet the needs of both the pets in my care and their owners, be that long walks every day or light exercise, lots of play time with other dogs or no contact with unknown animals. My mission is always to make the experience as comfortable, fun, and safe as possible for all parties involved, especially the pet parents and their beloved pets.
Reviews
Mary Grace was fantastic! She communicated the whole time and handled our big dog very well. Would definitely book again!
Thank you MG for taking care of my beloved Monty. Would rebook 10/10.
Thank you so much for looking after Truffle! He had so much fun, lots of activities and outings for him and careful consideration of his needs. We really appreciate it! Thank you!
MG was so good and patient with my kitty! She can take a while to warm up but MG took it slow and has begun to win her over. She gave great visit recaps which I always appreciate while I’m away and made sure my baby was feed with clean water and litter box each visit. Will definitely use MG again!

While I do not have a yard, I make sure the animals in my care get plenty of exercise. Depending on the dog’s recall and the owner’s comfort level, I can take dogs on hikes, to the beach, on long walks, or to the park or dog park.

Information MG G. would like to know about your pet
As previously mentioned, my priority is always the comfort of the pets I am taking care of. That said, I do also have two pets of my own. When I stay at the client/pet’s house I can manage dogs and cats of all temperaments. For those who want to to board their pets with me, it is important that they be comfortable with other animals and will not have issues with the presence of another dog and cat.
A typical day
My priority for the dogs in my care is to make them feel as comfortable as possible, and to maintain their daily routines as best I can. I am physically fit and can take dogs on long walks every day, trips to the beach, visits at the dog park, or hikes around LA. I have plenty of tennis balls and Chuck-It’s, and can play fetch as long as it takes for a dog to tire out. When the weather doesn’t permit lengthy outdoor activities, I have several dog puzzles that can be used to entertain and occupy dogs, and love to create homemade snuffle mats and scavenger hunts to keep the dogs happy and engaged.

Availability
I work from home, so my schedule is very flexible. I am able to build long walks for my dog into my day, so caring for dogs will not be a problem. I spend at least an hour on dogs walks every day and make sure to take time to play with my cat, as well.
