Hi there! I just moved here from Hawai'i a year ago to see new places and do different things. I really have a thing for dogs. I grew up with them my whole life helping my grandfather train (he used them for hunting boars in the mountains), feed and care after them. At one point we had 22 of them! I don't have any pets at the moment but my very own first dog I had for 15 years, a pitbull/mastiff, since she was 6 months. She learned a lot of words and I love her as if she were my own child. Unfortunately, she developed a tumor that I had spent my savings on to save her but it was no use. It came back but this time there were more. I couldn't stand to see her weak and in so much pain she couldn't even get up so I did the only thing I could think of doing, even though it was my absolute last thing I wanted, and took her to get euthanized. It's been about 3 years since that and I still think about her, she was the best dog I've ever had! She has taught me to be patient and really brought out the dog lover in me! I'm hoping to adopt a rescue in the future but I want to make sure that I can care for him/her properly by getting to know people in my community who are in the dog business, lol, and earning a bit more income. I'm a pretty active person so they'll have loads of fun on our walks and play time. I currently dog-sit a long haired Dachshund named Dino for a friend of mine (adorable little thing!) once in a while so maybe we could have a play date! I work 3 days a week so I'll be available for most of the rest of the week. Will post days on my calendar where I'm unavailable. Looking forward to helping out and future puppy snuggles!
