When it comes to taking care of dogs, it requires more taken than just taking them out for a walk and feeding them. Having a bond with the dog and interacting with him/her is essential to give the dog a sense of security and trust. I always consider dogs as children which need to be given undivided attention and care. I have had experience taking care of puppies and even teach them certain commands/tricks. As for bigger dogs, I have only had a couple encounters, but I am not and afraid of taking care of them. I enjoy taking dogs on trail walks and to parks. I also enjoy making treats and foods (homemade) for dogs. I know dogs and puppies really enjoy the treats.
