Pet care experience
Being such a huge animal lover, I decided that this would be the perfect “job” for me. I have never taken my dogs to a kennel as I know they would be frightened and overwhelmed. My home offers your dog comfort and you a peace of mind when you are out of town. I grew up loving on dogs. Dogs have always been a part of my family. I have raised my 12 year old since she was an itty bitty puppy. I also have a 6 year old I rescued two years ago. They truly are my kids. I am so passionate about animals and their rights. I have fostered two dogs this year and do volunteer work with a local organization. I am actually a vegetarian because I love animals. Your dog will not only be comfortable but also happy when he/she stays with our pack :) Why I love dog sitting I was born a dog lover. I cannot imagine having a happy house without the love of a dog in it. About my yard I live in an apartment, but we have a courtyard that is fenced where i would be happy to run the dogs around in! I also have lots of sidewalks and areas to walk the dogs to ensure they’re happy and getting their exercise! . My experience administering medication Yes, I administer pills to the neighbor dogs who I babysit several times a month. This is not a problem at all.

Merritt has watched our two dogs a few times. She is so great with dogs and you can tell how much she loves them! Our two always come home exhausted and happy!
Merritt made our dog feel right at home and he loved playing with all the other dogs. We received lots of pictures, videos, and messages so we knew our dog was having a great time. Would highly recommend Merritt.
Merritt is fantastic, my pups has so much fun they played their hearts out came home happy and exhausted! She loves the dogs like they were her own!
Merritt was great! She really loves dogs, and my dog really loved her too. She even ate her food the first day, which she usually doesn't when she isn't with us! Merritt took great care of our dog and spoiled her. We will definitely use her services again. :)

I do not have breed preferences as I am aware dogs are a product of their environment. I would like to know a dog's temperant and needs before committing to babysitting. I also like to make sure the dog is as comfortable as possible by following their normal routines. It is important for them to get along with other pups.
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks We have a trail by my house that I walk my dogs on often. There is always a creek they like to go and play by. Your dog's sleeping arrangement Wherever you prefer. My dogs have always slept in bed with us, your dog is welcome to do the same. Time I'll spend with your dog When I take on watching someone else's dog, I make sure I am home the entire time during their stay (with the exception of small errands). I want to make sure the dog is comfortable and socialized, so that he/she is not afraid when their parents are gone. My pups are needy, so I show them lots of love and attention.
