Pet care experience
I have had pets in my home every since I was 4 years old, and when I moved out on my own, I quickly grew my own pet family! My husband and I have 4 dogs and 2 cats, all rescues! I am experienced with all sizes of dogs (mini yorkies to mastiffs!) and actually have a span of sizes in my own home. I am also experienced with rescues with complicated backgrounds, history of abuse, and reactivity. I understand that reactivity does not make a dog mean, and I am comfortable with dealing with that!

Merit is great with dogs of all breeds and varying personalities. I have dogs that need someone who is willing to put up with their quirks and Merit was up for the job! She loves all animals; whether your fur baby is a dog or a cat they will be in great hands with Merit!
Merit is one of the biggest animal lovers that I know. She has rescued and cared for more animals than anyone I know. My own dogs adore her and I trust her fully with them (which is saying something because my dogs are basically my children). Merit is extremely knowledgeable in taking care of animals with all kinds of temperament and is not afraid of a challenge. She is patient and kind and I know will make sure your baby is extremely content and well cared for.
Merit is the most attentive, loving, and friendly person to leave your pet with! She is always willing to go over and beyond to abide by my dogs’ schedules and treats them like they are her own. They love when they can go visit her house! I would trust her with any fur baby of mine.

At my own home, all of my pets are inside pets, and sleep in the bed with me! I am comfortable with whatever set-up you have in your home, and whatever stage your pet is in. I am experienced with crate training and am comfortable with that as well.

A typical day
We wake up, the pups go out, and we play a bit together! Then I let them have some outdoor time while I go in and let our cat, Neville, eat. Then the pups come inside and we snuggle most of the day!

I currently am a student with only one class per week, so I have plenty of time to play with your furry family members! I can come as many times a day as needed, stay overnight, or just come by to feed! Whatever you want/need!
