Merissa was incredibly sweet and helped us so much when she agreed to take our pups last minute. She was very communicative throughout their stay, and I thought I would give them a great review, but when I came to pick the pups up I found out she hadn’t been communicative about the most important thing. Without my consent, both of my dogs were fed a 1/2lb each of raw meat an hour or so before I picked them up. Merissa warned they might have diarrhea, which was the understatement of the century. Her partner (who did the meat feeding) said he gave them some oil to “coat their stomachs”, so “they should be fine.” They’re not fine. Twenty four hours later and I am still cleaning up oily, explosive diarrhea around the house. I don’t understand how someone could be so communivative about things like where they’d put the dog beds, but not have the foresight to ask if feeding the dogs a massive amount of raw meat was ok with me. I really liked Merissa and wanted to be able to give her a good review, but the explosive diarrhea necessitates that I do otherwise.
