I've grown up taking care of a wide range of animals and just genuinely enjoy being around them. At the moment I have a two year old pitbull, a two and a half year old Bombay Black cat, and two African fat-tailed geckos. I currently volunteer for Austin Pets Alive! and since moving to Austin have free evenings and weekends. I'm a very detail-oriented and affectionate person, so you can rest assured that your dog will be my number one focus and that they will receive all the attention they deserve - and then some! I also live less than 3 miles from Lady Bird Lake, so although I don't offer pet boarding, I would be happy to take your pup to the lake with me.

Meridith was perfect. She sent just enough updates that we were assured our fur babies were doing well without feeling overwhelmed. They were really relaxed and happy when we got back from our trip. In fact, I think they were disappointed that we weren't Meridith. (Haha.)

I would like to know about any potential aggression or timid behavior they may have when meeting me at first so I can make them feel as comfortable as possible. I love each and every breed of dog and carry special affection for pitbulls and large dogs.
A typical day
Depending on your comfort level and your dog's demeanor I would love to take them out to the dog park or down to the lake to play; if they're pretty energetic I'm always up for throwing the ball and playing tug-of-war. I'm also just as comfortable walking the dog and playing with them from the comfort of your yard or neighborhood, and since I'm definitely an advocate for puppy cuddles and scratches, I have no problem spending time indoors with them as well.
