Pet care experience
Hi! I am a long time dog owner and animal caregiver. Having volunteered at shelters and cared for my own dog as a puppy through to his last months with cancer, I have across the board experience with dogs of all shapes, sizes, and personalities. I recently completed my masters degree in animal biology, and am looking to connect with local families and dogs after having moved back to spend time at home after our sweet dog passed away recently. I have been caring for other family’s dogs for about 6 years now, and am excited for the opportunity. I am comfortable in light grooming and bathing, as well as administering medicines as needed. I look forward to the chance to get to know your four-legged family members!

We haven’t left our babies with a sitter they didn’t know in quite some time due to covid. Meredith was everything we could’ve asked for and more!!! She came over before to meet us/the pets and get the lay of the land at our house. It was clear right from the minute we met her how much she genuinely loves animals! Our energetic doodle and ornery senior cat took to her immediately and she was so kind and caring to them as if they were her own. While we were away Meredith kept us updated with photos and let us know what they were up to. Both are pets are pretty different - an insanely energetic doodle who needs constant attention and then a senior cat who pretty much just wants to eat and be left alone. She managed both perfectly! I would not hesitate to have Meredith stay at our house again with our babies ❤️ I’m so glad we found her ?
Meredith was so wonderful walking my dog Mocha while I was out of town. She was attentive to his needs and incredibly flexible when I needed to make a schedule change. Getting report cards on Mocha’s walks and activities really lessened the burden of being away. I will absolutely use Meredith as a dog walker/sitter in the future.
I highly recommend Meredith for when you need someone to care for your pets! She's responsible and caring, and she'll make sure that both you and your pets are happy! When Meredith took care of my pup, Junior, I could tell he was very comfortable around her (even though he can be a pain sometimes). I loved how well she communicated with me, ensuring that he was safe and that I didn't have to worry. She did a great job, and I'll definitely be using her services again in the future!
I've known Meredith for over two decades, and in that time, I have seen her love for animals - specifically doggies - mature from a squeal upon seeing one to a real ability to care for them. When she cared for my labradoodle, she was responsible, invested, and affectionate, seemingly reading my dog's mind every time I saw them together. Some people are simply "dog people," and Meredith is certainly one of those people!
