I’ve been caring for dogs and cats for as long as I can remember. I’ve dog sat regularly for family and friends, caring for pets of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. Through nannying most of my life, I’ve also developed a strong sense of responsibility, patience, and attentiveness — which translates naturally into how I care for animals. What sets me apart is the level of attention and intuition I bring to every pet. I’m used to reading body language, sticking to routines, and creating a calm, safe environment. Whether it’s keeping up with an energetic puppy, reinforcing basic training and good leash manners, or providing gentle, patient care for senior pets who need a slower pace, I adapt to each pet’s individual needs. I truly love both dogs and cats equally, so I’m just as comfortable with playful zoomies as I am with quiet purr-filled cuddle time. My goal is always to make your pet feel secure, loved, and cared for as if they were my own.

When caring for pets in their own home, I treat the space and pets with the same respect I would for my own. I follow their established routines for feeding, walks, play, and bedtime, ensuring minimal disruption to the pets’ daily lives. I provide companionship, exercise, and mental stimulation, and I’m attentive to each pet’s unique needs and personality. I also communicate regularly with the owner, sharing updates and photos so they feel connected while away, just as I would wish to receive from anyone caring for my beloved animals!

Meredith was great looking after both our cats, she kept us updated with photos and good communication throughout. It was clear she gave them the time and attention they deserve and she was super proactive with asking questions. Overall Meredith is super friendly and trustworthy and I would have her cat sit again!!!
Meredith went above and beyond to care for my cat, Miso! She spent extra time with him well beyond what we paid for, and the pictures she shared really showed how happy Miso was to see her. We’re excited to book her again.
Meredith did an excellent job sitting my dog for a little over a week, who can be a little difficult to walk. She was kind, responsive, and gave regular updates.

Meredith took wonderful care of our cats, and I’m so grateful for her help. She was very patient with everything, including dealing with a new feeder we’re still figuring out. I really appreciated her calm and caring energy with the cats. She even stayed a bit longer to help our kitten burn off some energy, which meant a lot. The sweetest surprise was that our older cat, Agustin, came to sit near her on the couch, something he almost never does! That says a lot about how comfortable he felt with her. I would definitely recommend her.

Schedule
I currently work full time but have a very flexible schedule. I will always prioritize transparency with my clients in order to best serve their furry friends needs. Better safe than sorry is my motto!
