I grew up with dogs, cats, horses, and other household pets. I had the privilege to care for my very own dog (a black lab named Chester) when I was nine. I wrote a lengthly (nine year old appropriate) proposal as to why my parents should let me have a dog. I trained Chester, took of care of him, and he was my best-friend until life decided his time here was finished, eleven years later. I am grateful I had him for so long. He was a good dog. I think dogs are man's best-friend and they are sweet animals that share love and show love. Dogs make the world better. I have dog sat as a side job since college, roughly five years. I have dog sat for periods of a few days, to weekends, and even to a bit over a week. References available upon request. My skills include knowing what to do when a dog overheats, call the vet, put him in the bathtub with ice, and run cold water. I am conscious, thorough, and compassionate.
