Animal Lover ISO Long Dog Walks In The Neighborhood... We have a love-filled home & we celebrate making new friends--from canine to equine. We have cared for birds, bunnies, reptiles, cats, chickens, horses, & dogs of all ages. From training puppies to being trained by many a cat; from brushing bunnies to brushing horses; from gently nurturing senior pets to practicing for canine agility...we adore them all.

We are repeat customers of Meredith, and wouldn’t want to go through anyone else. I am amazed by all of her knowledge on watching dogs, and know my dogs are always happy and safe with her. I also love all of the cute pictures she sends me.

I'm comfortable with dog & cat baths, nail trims, brushings, as well as administering various daily medications. I have experience with walking dog-reactive dogs & socializing skittish cats as well. Along with the labors of love, we've also shared countless games of fetch, snuggles, walks, & smooches. We have one forever dog & three forever cats of our own. For now, I am getting my Rover paws wet with daily walks & visits. I passed the enhanced background check with flying colors. In the near future, we'll be excited to open up our house for dog & cat day care & boarding.

What makes your dog or cat happiest? Is there anything that scares him or her? Are there any quirky behaviors or unconventional preferences? What do you envision as your optimal pet care scenario for your furry loved one(s)? I accept all breeds of dogs or cats. At our house, puppies who aren't fully vaccinated & dogs who are dog-reactive will need to be comfortable being crated separately from the pack. We have XL crates & frequent bathroom breaks, as well as lots of loving quality time. Pets staying at our home must be up-to-date on their vaccinations and flea & tick preventative.
A typical day
We will walk around our neighborhood & play fetch in our yard on a long lead. We can go to parks or dog parks if it's okay with the pet parents. We'll have lots of quality snuggle time. We can sing or howl together, talk current events, or enjoy a meaningful belly rub sesh. We can Netflix & chill or go on a fun adventure. I'll honor your preferences, keep your pet safe, & love your fur baby as the individual he/she is.

I have a lifetime of experience loving & caring for animals. I adopted my first cat & started pet-sitting for neighbors 30 years ago. I adopted my first dog & founded a dog rescue 15 years ago. We've been fostering & caring for animals in South Forsyth over the last several years. Most recently, we've fostered over 85 dogs, cats, puppies, & kittens for Atlanta's LifeLine Animal Project. My experience ranges from bottle-feeding neonatal kittens to caring for a senior dog who's undergoing heartworm treatment.
