Since my 14-year-old Akita passed away last year, I've been pet-sitting/dog walking and absolutely adore it. I provide your fluffy friend with frequent pee/sniff breaks and at least 1 long walk if they're up for it. And of course, lots of "Who's a good doggy!?" chats & cuddles. Details re: services Boarding & daycare: I live in a large apartment which is surrounded by parks & trails; I have no pets or children. Due to the nature of my building, dogs must be good with other dogs & children. There's also a height restriction of approx 21 inches at the "withers" (shoulder bone) which I think is silly, but can't do much about unfortunately. Walking/drop-ins: New West, Sapperton, Queen's Park areas.

I cannot begin to thank Meredith enough for taking such good care of our senior Siberian Husky, Drogo. It's always difficult to leave him behind when we go out of town--especially because he is an older dog, and has arthritic issues--but it gave us such peace of mind knowing he was with Meredith. She sent us lots of updates and photos, and was very understanding and patient with his specific needs. We feel so lucky to have met Meredith, and would definitely contact her again the next time we need a dog sitter!
This was my first time with Meredith and she as well as her partner, Lea, are amazing people. They took really good care of Mylo. Sent me pictures and messages updating me on his daily activities. I am constantly looking for day care and it’s not easy finding someone you are really happy with. I would definitely recommend Meredith to take care of your loved one. I am really happy and thankful. All dogs are one-of-a-kind. Allergies, commands, likes & dislikes are very important to know as well as schedules, medications, emergency numbers, etc. I save them in a private, protected file on my phone. Favourite treats are also a plus but not a requirement.
A typical day
This all depends on the personality & preferences of your pooch. If they're in a social mood, we can wander around the more popular areas of the local parks to visit with neighbourhood dogs and maybe head to the off-leash dog park if you're okay with that. Or, we can explore quieter areas and trails which are perfect for a private snuffle. And of course, we will have treats, naps and TLC time.

I'm very flexible. I am a former teacher, taking online courses for a career change, so regular exercise with your dog is a great distraction for me too! I provide dog walking & drop-ins.
