Pet care experience
I've been a vet assistant for 8+ years. Not only do i handle the medical side as an assistant but also with boarding and capable to give medications to all ages of pets. I know how important our pets are to us and when life gets busy or in the way we can't always be there, and that's where I can come in to help!

I ALWAYS reach out to Mercedez FIRST when I go on vacation when I need a pet sitter. I have a 13 year old chiweenie and a 8 year old pitty mix. Mercedez takes very good care of both dogs , but I especially love that she handles my older dog with extra consideration due to her old age. It is a huge plus that Mercedez has experience as a Vet Technisian as well. She understands the importance of timely medication and the special attention that my dogs require. She also stays the night at my house when needed. Great choice for top notch pet care! <3
Mercedez is a great pet watcher. She takes care of both my dogs (Beagle and St Bernard mix). She'll watch them at my house when i'm away on business. She's a very capable walker of both dogs, too! Sometimes when i'm really busy and can't walk them, shell swing by to walk, also. I'd recommend her because she's reliable, trustworthy, and has fair pricing.

I only go to others homes to watch or check in on the pets because I do live in an apartment. I also feel the pets are more comfortable staying in their normal environment and it's less stressful for them. I ask and go over what the owners prefer for their dog and/or cats needs and routine and abide by that.

A typical day
I prefer to keep a dog's daily routine similar to what their owner does or prefers. They know what their pet loves or prefers. So I like to know those things so I can accommodate that as much as possible.

Availability
Work full time 4 days a week. However available to do drop in visits and walks morning and evenings. Other 3 days I'm available throughout the day.
