Pet care experience
I am a registered veterinary technician, which is basically an animal nurse. I love all animals but dogs have a very special place in my heart! I love dogs of all sizes and breeds, and love to be active with them! I am comfortable with injections and medications and have experience working with animals of all sizes and ages. I also have experienced with special needs pets. I am comfortable doing minimal grooming. I love playing and being active and outdoors either hiking or swimming with my fur buddies I would love to set up a meet and greet for you and your pet! I am active and love to take the dogs on multiple walks a day. I just moved to the area so I have a pretty open schedule at the moment and I’m at home, hiking, or at the beach with my own fur babies Looking forward to meting you and your furry friends soon

Mercedes, is absolutely phenomenal. I reached out to her on short notice, as I needed someone to watch my 5 month old puppy and crazy German Shepherd, who got stung by a bee and wouldn’t stop nipping at himself. Mercedes, was not phased one bit. You can tell, not only does she love animals, but she has experience working with them. The second she walked into my apartment, she was instantly greeted by my pups. She was not overwhelmed by their energy level one bit. She sent me frequent updates, plenty of pictures, took them on walks, and made sure they were comfortable. I can tell they both enjoyed spending time with her. I would highly recommend Mercedes, to anyone looking for a responsible pet sitter, who truly cares for your pet, As if they were her own. - 10 stars!
Mercedes has been not only an amazing dog sitter, but a trusted friend as well. She is a loving mother to her fur babies, and on many occasions has been to mine also! My main priority before going away is to make sure that my dogs are going to be taken care of. Knowing Mercedes treats all animals with respect, she is always my number one choice for Penny and Lou. I never worry when they are in her care because I know she can handle almost any situation with ease. She has so much grit that she goes above and beyond being a mom and dog sitter, is now a Registered Veterinary Technician. There are lots of options out there, but respect and trust are key, which is why Mercedes will always be my top choice.
Mercedes is the only person I would ever leave my pets with. Not only is my dog Harley absolutely obsessed with her, Mercedes is so loving and gentle with her in return. It is no surprise that Mercedes is on her way to being a vet because she truly has a gift with animals. I recommend Mercedes every time I have a friend in need of a pet sitter.
I’ve known Mercedes for a few years now and she is an avid animal lover and all around great person. My dog Luna suffers from separation anxiety and is also very weary of new people but Mercedes is great with her! I feel 100% comfortable leaving my pet in her care. She’s a fantastic person and an excellent RVT.
