Welcome to my page and thank you for your consideration! Currently I only offer cat boarding. If you're looking for a place to board your cat(s) with many years of personal and professional experience, I may be a good fit. ✨ Previous veterinary med experience, including medication administration oral, topical, and injected medication or management. ✨ Photo updates at least once per trip, unless otherwise requested. ✨ My house has an ultra fine central filtration system with additional supplemental room filtration systems to help with environmental allergies. ✨ Someone is at home 24/7, so cats are never entirely alone. ✨ My house has a double security system with multiple indoor and outdoor facing security cameras. ✨ I believe in making quality pet care affordable and accessible, so I aim to keep low rates, and I also offer some discounts.* Services I currently offer: ✨ Boarding for cats. I do require that cats are current on rabies, be free of internal and external parasites, and have received vaccinations for FeLV, FHV-1, FCV, and FPV within the last five years. * Available Discounts: 10% off for first responders (fire, police, EMS), hospital emergency employees (nurses, doctors, techs), and active duty military or veterans.

I was reluctant about using Rover to care for Cassie, our Coker Spaniel, but immediately got a response from dog sitter, Mercedes. After several e-mails to address some concerns about Cassie's little escape artist maneuvers, Mercedes assured us that she would pay extra attention to this. All of Mercedes' reviews had been favorable and I could see why; she sent us several reports with pictures addressing how Cassie was getting along in her new environment. Mercedes not only had some treats for Cassie to take home but also included 'Human" treats with a report of Cassie's week long stay. I would highly recommend her services and appreciated all that she did for Cassie and will not hesitate to use her services again. Thank You
Mercedes is a wonderful pet sitter! She is very considerate and flexible. She does everything she can to make the stay easy and comfortable for you and your little pet babies! She even helped one of my dogs when he had an allergic reaction and was feeling very itchy. I highly recommend her services.
Mercedes did a wonderful job taking care of our very newly adopted dogs while we were away. She made sure to send photos every day, and the pups seemed very happy and calm when we came back! I'd highly recommend her for your dog sitting needs! She was awesome!
Mercedes watched my elderly dog at my home while I was on vacation. She was great. She texted me an update on how he was doing along with some nice pictures. I felt so comfortable having her in my home watching my pet. I got home last night to a happy, healthy dog. I would use her again without question.

✨ I have a rigorous cleaning protocol that involves sanitization and disinfection of surfaces and shared supplies such as bowls or toys. ✨ All boarded or daycare dogs must pass a behavior exam which checks for their ability to interact safely with people, dogs, cats, and an ability to be calm and quiet in a kennel. ✨ All boarded or daycare animals must meet minimum vaccination and health requirements to reduce the risk of disease or parasite spread. ✨ For dog walks, I carry various tools to help prevent a dog attack (eg. mace), in addition to being vigilant about my surroundings and avoiding areas where there's known to be loose and/or potentially dangerous dogs. ✨ Raw Feeding: Absolutely happy to handle raw feeders! Meals must be prepped in advance, and stored in the fridge or freezer. All bowls, containers, touched surfaces, etc. will be immediately washed with hot water and soap.

I would like to know as much as possible about your pets, and I prefer the complete picture including any "flaws." In order for me to keep myself and your dog safe, I absolutely need to know if your dog has any reactivity, aggression, or fearful tendencies and I need to know the known triggers for those behaviors. ✨ Meet and greets are required for all dog clients to assess personality, fit, and to discuss goals. ✨ Meet and greets are encouraged for cat-only clients to give your cat a chance to meet me, but these are not required providing we can arrange keys/necessary information.
A typical day
✨ Boarded dogs can enjoy a range of activities with your permission, including scent work, obedience training, play with other dogs, walks, dog treadmill jogs, pupsicles, frozen kongs, and pool play. ✨ Boarded cats can enjoy individual one-on-one time for cuddles and play, access to cardboard scratchers, have a litter box that is emptied/replaced daily, and access to a window to bird watch. Cats are kept in a dog-free space.

Availability
I have a fairly flexible schedule with generally no strict time restraints. My dogs are used to having rotated schedules, so I can currently accommodate most client needs. VISITS: I can typically be available as early as 7am, and as late as 10pm. WALKS: I am available to walk dogs, in most cases, between 7a-2p, and 7p-8pm. Mid day potty walks are available, however during high heat or unhealthy weather, walks may be very short.
