I have loved dogs my entire life. As a young girl, my family had a Labrador Retriever. She passed when I was 6. When I turned 9, we got a Jack Russell Terrier and she lived to be 14 years young. I currently own a 10 year old Weimaraner whom I have had for 8 years. Throughout my life, I have helped friends, family and neighbors care for their dogs. I would dog sit in their homes, take them for walks or stop by to feed them. I helped train our Jack Russell basic obedience and potty training. The previous owner of my Weimaraner did obedience, potty and crate training with him, but I taught him agility and basic tricks. I believe we don't deserve such faithful, loyal and loving animals, so the best we can do as humans is give them the same treatment in return. Every single dog is special.
